old, needs upgrading and priced too high for quality
neatness everything was perfect
none But somebody told us it was only fifty-three dollars for one night But we paid eighty-seven dollars for one night that brought us to 93.40 dollars-
Room had water damage and kind of smelled. We did not get the king room that we were supposed to, and the person at the desk didn't care.
I love the fireside inn in a different city... This one was not up to pair.
I got in the room finally after about 10 minutes fighting with it because the door was stuck... When I was leaving the room it took a additional 10 minutes because it would not open. When i got it open I went to the front desk to let them know.. They sent a housekeeper up that heard me complaining and she said she had a hard time getting in the room to clean it earlier that day. She tried to fix it but did not succeed.. My boyfriend was in the room so he ended up taking a bar of soap and waxed the door and the frame.. I usually love staying at the suites but this was the worse experience i ever had.
Clean very quiet rooms at a reasonable price. AND they allow pets.
Would have like to have had a protien option at breakfast.
Size of room, comfortable beds, great unlimited coffee, good breakfast, clean room, nice fireplace, lots of heat. Friendly staff!
The fireplace in room, 42 inch flatscreen, the rooms were very comfortable.
Continental breakfast area was a bit small, there wasn't much selection
First choice when visiting bangor
Closeness to everything
Noise in the hallways and doors slamming all night long. Loud voices at 2:00 and 3:00 AM.
Room had food on floor in several places. Hotel would not honor Booked.net reservation.
I thought it was quite pricey compared to other places that we have stayed at.
We always stay here when we go to Bangor, however this time our room air conditioner was not working properly:( Not worth changing rooms and they were pretty booked that night. We will return as always though.
We were Happy and pleased with everything and will be back again
It was everything we wanted for a get away weekend
3 friends and I stayed for one night. We were out quite late shopping and upon arrival at the Fireside were in a "laughing mood". We swapped funny stories and giggled into the wee hours of the night which apparently disturbed our neighbors. After the neighbors obnoxiously pounded on the wall, we were visited by the woman who was working at the front desk. After her 3rd knock at our door, and us finally figuring out it was someone at the door rather than our neighbors pounding again, I answered the door. The woman was very short with me, threatened to have us removed if we didn't start playing "quakers meeting", and belittled me with other sarcasm. I am a 36 year old teacher and paid just as much to stay there as my neighbor did. I felt bad that we disrupted his sleep with our giggling, but I also felt that I was treated poorly by Fireside staff regarding the matter.
convenient,clean, private, decent amenities
